Part 1 — Finding Your Referral Link
- Go to Settings in the sidebar
- Click Referrals
- Your unique referral link is shown on the page

Part 2 — Sharing Your Link
Click Copy Link to copy your unique referral link. Then share it however works best for you:
Ideas for sharing:
- Send it by email to a business owner you know
- Share in a WhatsApp or text message
- Post it on LinkedIn if you want to reach a wider audience
- Add it to your email signature
💡 Tip: The most effective referrals come from a personal recommendation. A short note like "I use WorkRoster for our timesheets — it's really simple, you should try it" works better than just sending a link.
Part 3 — Tracking Your Referrals
On the Referrals page you can see:

Part 4 — How Credits Are Applied
Credits are applied automatically to your next monthly invoice. You do not need to do anything.
Example:
Your monthly bill: $9.90
Referral credit: −$5.00
Amount charged: $4.90
Credits accumulate until your next billing date, then are applied as a discount. If your credits exceed your monthly bill, the remainder carries over to the following month.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Does the person I refer also get a benefit? Yes — both you and the new user receive a credit reward when they start a paying subscription.
Q: How long is my referral link valid? Your referral link does not expire. You can share it at any time.
Q: What counts as a successful referral? A referral is successful when the new user signs up using your link AND starts a paid subscription (Starter, Growth, or Enterprise). Free-tier sign-ups do not count.
Q: Can I refer multiple businesses? Yes — there is no limit. Refer as many businesses as you like.
Q: When exactly are credits applied? Credits are processed at the start of your next billing cycle and appear as a discount on your invoice.
Q: Can employees also earn referral credits? Yes — any WorkRoster user can access their referral link in Settings → Referrals and earn credits. Credits are applied to the workspace's billing account.
